Cdiscount is a French marketplace on which it is possible to sell products of various kinds (such as electronics, appliances, food, etc.).
To allow bindCommerce to communicate with Cdiscount, the first step to follow will be to create a dedicated node.
When the node is ready, you can proceed with the further steps to allow bindCommerce to proceed with the publication of the offers on the marketplace and with the download of the sales documents.
Before starting the publication you need to complete the following actions:
Subsequently it will be possible to generate the offers and start the publication:
Once the publication process has been completed, it will be possible to proceed with the configurations for importing orders from the marketplace to bindCommerce.

Cdiscount prevede la pubblicazione di prodotti anche non noti al marketplace, e per questo tipo di operazione è richiesta una configurazione specifica su bindCommerce.
Per avviare con successo la pubblicazione dei prodotti su Cdiscount, si consiglia di effettuare prima la pubblicazione dei prodotti non noti e, in un secondo momento, si potrà procedere con l’invio delle offerte.
Per creare la configurazione sarà dunque necessario andare al menù:
Marketplace >> Cdiscount >> Pubblicazione prodotti
cliccare su Aggiungi e compilare i campi come indicato di seguito:
- Nome: indicare un nome per la configurazione
- Da dove prelevare le immagini: selezionare la posizione delle immagini che verranno inviate al marketplace, ad esempio dalla tabella prodotti
- Da dove prelevare le descrizioni dei prodotti: per poter creare un prodotto, Cdiscount richiede obbligatoriamente le seguenti informazioni:
- ShortLabel (max 132 caratteri) corrispondente in bindCommerce al nome del prodotto
- LongLabel e Description (max 250 caratteri ciascuno) corrispondente in bindCommerce alla descrizione breve (ripetuta in entrambi i campi)
- Brand
Facoltativamente è possibile inviare la descrizione estesa in HTML di bindCommerce (denominata in Cdiscount “marketing description”, della lunghezza massima di 5000 caratteri), il codice MPN (presente in bindCommerce nella tabella prodotti) e le dimensioni del prodotto.
- Attributi: selezionare dal menù a tendina l’attributo Cdiscount e il corrispondente attributo bindCommerce. Sarà possibile scegliere anche se effettuare una conversione di scala dei valori degli attributi, se necessario
- Varianti: selezionare gli attributi Taglia e Colore che determinano le varianti. Per ognuno degli attributi selezionati sarà possibile determinare se eseguire una conversione di scala dei valori, se necessario
Terminata la configurazione cliccare su SALVA E CHIUDI.
Per inviare i prodotti a Cdiscount sarà necessario a questo punto creare l’apposito connettore. Andare dunque al menù:
Processi >> Connettori
cliccare su Aggiungi e compilare il modulo come segue:
- Nome: un nome identificativo, per esempio "Invia prodotti a Cdiscount"
- Tipo di nodo: Marketplace Cdiscount
- Nodo: il nodo precedentemente creato
- Tipo di connettore: Marketplace Cdiscount [pubblica prodotti]
e dopo aver cliccato su SALVA e CONTINUA ed aver atteso il caricamento della pagina:
- Configurazione connettore: scegliere dal menù a tendina il nome della configurazione precedentemente creata
Cliccare quindi su SALVA e CHIUDI
Il connettore creato potrà essere eseguito cliccando sul tasto ESEGUIRE IMMEDIATAMENTE IL CONNETTORE? - Oppure inserito in una procedura automatica temporizzata.

Cdiscount provides for the publication of products also not known to the marketplace, and for this type of operation a specific configuration is required on bindCommerce.
To successfully start the publication of products on Cdiscount, it is advisable to first publish the unknown products and, at a later time, you can proceed with the sending of offers.
To create the configuration it will therefore be necessary to go to the menu:
Marketplace >> Cdiscount >> Products publication
click on Add and fill in the fields as follows:
- Name: specify a name for the configuration
- Where to get the images: select the location of the images that will be sent to the marketplace, for example from the product table
- Where to get the product decsriptions: in order to create a product, Cdiscount requires the following information:
- ShortLabel (max 132 characters) corresponding in bindCiommerce to the product name
- LongLabel and Description (max 250 characters each) corresponding in bindCommerce to the short description (repeated in both fields)
- Brand
Optionally it is possible to send the extended HTML description of bindCommerce (called the Cdiscount marketing decription, with a maximum length of 5000 characters), the MPN code (present in bindCommerce in the products table) and the dimensions of the product.
- Attributes: select the Cdiscount attribute and the corresponding bindCommerce attribute from the drop-down menu. You will also be able to choose whether to perform a scaling of the attribute values if necessary
- Variants: sselect the Size and Color attributes that determine the variants. For each of the selected attributes you will be able to determine whether to perform a value scale conversion, if necessary
Once the configuration is complete, click on SAVE AND CLOSE.
To send the products to Cdiscount it will be necessary at this point to create the appropriate connector. So go to the menu:
Process >> Connectors
click on Add and fill in the form as follows:
- Name: an identifying name, for example "Send products to Cdiscount"
- Node Type: Cdiscount Marketplace
- Node: the previously created node
- Connector Type: Cdiscount Marketplace [Publish Products]
and after clicking on SAVE and CONTINUE and waiting for the page to load:
- Connector configuration: choose the name of the previously created configuration from the drop-down menu
Then click on SAVE and CLOSE
Can the connector created be executed by clicking on the RUN CONNECTOR IMMEDIATELY button? - Or inserted in a timed automatic procedure.

The Cdiscount advertisements generated on bindCommerce and sent to the marketplace will be available in the appropriate section:
Marketplace >> Cdiscount >> Listings
For each listing it will be possible to check the data sent to the marketplace, the status of the listing and the response log message from the marketplace.
In fact, when there are no publications or anomalies, it is necessary to first check the status of the listings reported on bindCommerce and the related log message contained within it.
In this way it will be possible to identify the cause of the non-publication, and proceed with any changes and/or corrections that will allow the product to go online on Cdiscount.
In addition, a section is available on bindCommerce for product/offer publication jobs, that is, a table containing all the specific logs of the Cdiscount processes.
For each publication process started on bindCommerce, therefore, it will be possible to check the status of the process, the type, and the latest update. Also in this case, for any anomalies or problems encountered during the publication phase, we invite you to view this section to check the status of the processes which will provide an indication on how to proceed to resolve some problems.

The integration between bindCommerce and Cdiscount allows you to import orders from the marketplace to send them to integrated management systems, or to other platforms such as eCommerce.
To import orders from Cdiscount it is necessary to create a specific configuration and its connector.
The process can then be started manually or automatically through a procedure.
Import orders configuration
To create the configuration go to the menu:
Marketplace >> Cdiscount >> Import oders
Click Add and fill in the fields as follows:
- Name: Enter a name for the configuration
- Make the request: choose the period from which the orders to be imported on bindCommerce will be considered. The options provide a choice between last days, last hours and a range of dates
- Order status: by default some order statuses will already be selected within the configuration, but you can add others by selecting them from the drop-down menu or delete some of those already present
- Price list from which to withdraw the VAT rate: select the price list from those available on bindCommerce
Once the configuration is complete, click on SAVE AND CLOSE.
To send the products to cDiscount it will be necessary at this point to create the appropriate connector. So go to the menu:
Process >> Connectors
click on Add and fill in the form as follows:
- Name: an identifying name, for example "Import Cdiscount orders"
- Node Type: Cdiscount Marketplace
- Node: the previously created node
- Connector type: Marketplace Cdiscount [import orders]
and after clicking on SAVE and CONTINUE and waiting for the page to load:
- Connector configuration: choose the name of the previously created configuration from the drop-down menu
Then click on SAVE and CLOSE
